NDIS Funded Martial Arts

Mighty Ninja

might ninja.jpg

Mighty Ninja is the introduction level for all juniors. It caters for all student levels of ability and is designed to focus on hand eye coordination, fundamental skills, focus and physical attributes. As the students attend weekly classes they will naturally progress at their individual rate. This is recognised from levels 1 through to 8. Depending on each student’s progression and ability, they can graduate to the main Manakai Martial Arts training syllabus at any time.

This program is ideally suited to students with Neurodivergent diagnosis’s as it gives them time to develop their own personal skill set while interacting in a more fun environment.

For students that require extra attention to detail and require smaller groups there are weekly specialised classes for NDIS funded participants only. The maximum class size is 6 students.

Manakai Martial Arts also offers the ability for students to pay through the NDIS. Participants and or parents/guardians will enter a NDIS service agreement that covers the details and expectations of the program. Participants that are self-managed or plan-managed will receive weekly NDIS compliant invoices for payment. Participants that are NDIA / Agency Managed will be supported through our registered partner, Livelihood Support Services.

NDIS Funded Teens and Adults

Teens and Adults are able to utilise NDIS funding to support their martial arts training. Depending on the level of assistance required may impact your ability to participate in certain classes, but not to worry as we have a flexible approach that includes one on one sessions at the dojo or at home. Give us a call to discuss your support needs and take it from there.
